Remnants How It Works Login

How it Works

CountertopSmart works by connecting sellers and buyers (like Craigslist or eBay). Local, reputable countertop companies list their stone remnants on our site so that you, the user, can easily find and purchase them.

  1. Search for a stone remnant

Use our search filters to browse through thousands of money-saving stone remnants. You can search by color, stone species or dimensions.

  2. Place a free 7 day hold

Once you find an option that you think might work for your countertop project, place a completely free, no-risk "hold" on the remnant. As soon as you place the hold, the stone will be reserved for a period of 7 days and you will be provided the contact information of the countertop company that is selling the stone.

  3. Schedule a time to view

Contact the seller and schedule a convenient time to inspect the stone remnant in person. Feel free to bring along paint swatches, magazine clippings or even a cabinet door. By using our site, you're already going to win on the price, but make sure the style is right for your project and feel confident in your decision!

  4. Get your countertop installed

Every seller that lists their stone remnants on CountertopSmart is a reputable, local countertop company that can install your countertop for you. Request a quote for the installation and contract the directly with the seller.

All of our sellers have agreed to offer pre-negotiated, competitive rates to CountertopSmart customers so that you can feel certain you're receiving the best rates.
